BIGGING UP HOLBEIN - All Squared Up!
On Saturday 1st of March 25 artists painted a 2 ft x 2 ft portion of Hans Holbein’s ‘The Ambassadors’ in just 6 hours. At 4.00 pm the canvases were be collated to create a 10 feet square version of the original which is now on display at The Guild Hall.
Also, as part of the same event, children aged 7 years and older created one of 9 sections of 'The Ambassadors' which were collated to form a giant reproduction at the end of the session.

YOKO ONO WISHTREE
The Wish Tree, inspired and endorsed by Yoko Ono, has been a part of many exhibitions since the 1990s. You are invited to write your wish on a piece of paper and hang it on a tree branch. It's like a collective prayer in a way. Some wishes are deeply personal, some global wishes for peace and better future for humankind.
