An evening of Jazz based around the timeless classics of George Gershwin, including ‘Rhapsody in Blue’ The Still Time Band are a London-based professional jazz sextet who perform at Christian and arts events all over the country. This show, blending Gershwin with their own compositions, captivated audiences last time they came to Abingdon, and are back by popular demand. DAY OF JAZZ AT LARKMEAD SCHOOL

The school will host jazz instrumental and vocal workshops led by a group of international musicians who come together from Germany, New Orleans and Britain. Throughout the day pupils from Larkmead and other local schools will rehearse a medley of numbers to be performed later that evening. The professional musicians will perform too for a large part of the concert. We also welcome visitors throughout the day.
